What you'll be doing 

Our Senior Brand Trainer is responsible for designing, delivering, and monitoring all training needs of sales staff in our stores.

Content Creation:

  • Create, communicate, coordinate & implement the training kits & training calendars for the year
  • Create and design fun and interactive training assessments to engage BA’s and assess their brand & product knowledge
  • Recommend new learning materials and approaches to support the divisions needs
  • Leverage Group's available digital tools to digitalize training content
  • Provide training to the shop floor team by employing advanced product knowledge and best practice training techniques
  • Ensure timely training of all new product launches and upcoming marketing campaigns prior to launch / campaign activation
  • Conduct Mid-year and End-year exam
  • Conduct training needs analysis to assess the needs of the team – create and update the training tracker on a timely basis for all in-store coaching, making sure BA’s performance is tracked and developed to enhance their skill set
  • Analyze training data to assess usage and gaps
  • Conduct evaluations on the Learners and effectiveness of the learning materials and approaches
  • Complete at least 4 Product Development Focus Group Meetings (quarterly) and report back the findings and results to the product development team
  • Introduce and Keep track of MU Buddy Coaching Project
  • Act as the Brand ambassador at internal and external events, making sure to attend all brand events, in-store trade events
  • Assist with regional recruitment and staff allocation across the network
  • Train every new joiner upon arrival using the New Joiners Training Kit (create a file to keep track of the New Joiners Training and keep the commercial team updated with it)
  • Ensure every BA has received her New Product Gift / product allowance
  • Regular check of Merchandising Guidelines when visiting the store and reporting details back to the ops team on this matter (please consult Brand for Merchandising Guidelines)

Delivery:

What you'll need to succeed

  • Strong communication skills in English and Arabic
  • Based in KSA and able/comfortable with travelling locally frequently
  • Knowledge and passion for makeup products and techniques
  • Comfortable with public speaking and/or speaking in front of a camera
  • Proficiency in creating and delivering presentations
  • 2+ years of experience in being a Makeup Trainer
  • Makeup Certification is a plus
