What you will be doing 

The Group Culture & Measurement Lead role is a fundamental role within the Group People Experience and Culture (PE&C) team. Culture Development is an evolving and dynamic values-based approach to drive sustainable behavioral change in the business. 

The main purpose for the role in the next 2 – 3 years is to strengthen the Group readiness and leader’s capabilities to achieve and sustain a desired hybrid, Inclusive Growth Culture that increases the wellbeing and Future Fit of the business and its people. To build this hybrid and inclusive growth culture you would focus on:

  1.  Measuring the wellbeing of the business, particularly in terms of how far the desired behaviors are carried through. Enable stakeholders with depth of analysis to build their people strategies, interventions and learning and development opportunities. 
  2. Designing, developing, implementing and evaluating systemic interventions that strengthen the culture, facilitates leadership transformation, and enables individual development. 
  3. Design, develop and implement group wide culture strategies that are tailored and impactful for different areas and audiences across the business (ie countries / functions / business units)
  4. Develop strategies and initiatives that enable all employees to engage and align to our values and help articulate and develop new ways of working that are required to deliver Chalhoub’s people promise.
  5. Develop and sustain a measurement framework to ensure we get feelers on culture engagement and behavioral change. This includes full implementation, stakeholder plans and management, communication initiatives, leader/team capability development and ongoing monitoring of engagement and focused actions in response to experiences and feedback. 
  6. Build the capability of the HR Community to lead transformational cultural change by coaching and facilitating business leaders’ interventions. 
  7. Collaborate with people analytics and big data team and establish focus areas for PX & Culture, design prioritized culture use cases and create predictive culture analytics to generate insights and actions. 
  8. Lead all surveys, GPTW, annual people survey, pulse surveys, quick polling and provide data insights across PX&C team, people partners and entire function
  9. Drive Culture change through leadership - role model culture towards leaders, communities and P&C function with a focus on embedding mindset and behavioral change and helping leaders ‘walk the talk’ 
  10. Lead viral culture launch in 2022 – focused on purpose, engagement and culture communications 
  11. Support the business with creating common tools, methods, and systems that have a significant impact on our company culture.

What you'll need to succeed 

  • Extensive experience in a leadership role that encompasses organisational effectiveness, employee engagaement, leadership development and/or organisation culture change
  •  Demonstrable experience of building and delivering culture change and enhancement strategies and initiatives in a large organisation 
  • Adept at managing, motivating and inspiring stakeholders at every level of the business, managing change and inspiring people along the way 
  • Experience with developing business-wide measurement frameworks and analysis for culture, engagement and organisational behaviour 
  • Data-driven decision making - able to use available data to identify opportunities and areas for improvement
  •  GPTW experience is desirable but not essential
