What you'll be doing
As the HR Ops Manager you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day HR activities of the group's operation in Qatar. Your role will include: employee relations management, personnel operations, recruitment, rewards, performance management, immigration relations and any other HR related activities.
Your role will involve:
- Administering benefits programs (life, insurance, leaves)
- Advise management on appropriate resolution of employee related matters
- Lead employee performance management process
- Assist in the development and application of department policies and procedures in order to ensure the fulfilment of organizational requirements (labor relations, investigations and resolutions, benefits & entitlements, legal actions in line with local labor law )
- Provide counseling to employees on all work-related matters, manage employee services whilst making sure employees queries are handled fairly and in a timely manner
- Act as a consultant, subject matter expert and provide counseling to employees and all relevant stakeholders on all HR related matters.
- Monitor the yearly budget of the department
- Oversee programs for employee Training and Development (Talent Identification & recognition, Talent development plans, identify development needs and training opportunities)
- Oversee the recruitment process in coordination with relevant internal and external stakeholders (hiring strategy, offers management & manpower planning strategies) as well as overseeing and implementing induction plans and exit interviews.
- Reporting management ( generate reports which would allow management to make strategic decisions and would allow you to trace trends and propose actions accordingly)
What you’ll need to succeed
- You will hold a Bachelor's degree in HR or Business Management. A Masters degree in HRM would be considered a great plus
- You would have at least 7 years of experience leading an HR operations role within a large to medium size organization at a Senior level.
- Retail Experience is required. Other industries would be considered depending on relevance
- Fluency in English is a must, Arabic language would be a great plus
- You would be very knowledgeable in the Qatari labor law. You would currently be in Qatar or would've previously handled the Qatar market as part of your operation.
- You would be an excellent communicator able to deal with different people at all levels, highly organized, diplomatic, dynamic, experienced in your field and possess excellent attention to detail.
- You'd be a confidential person and a servant leader by nature.
