What you'll be doing
To drive category profitability and strategic decision-making through advanced data analysis, performance reporting, and cross-functional coordination. Supports senior category management in optimizing product assortments, inventory, and market share across travel retail stores, in addition to analytical reporting support to category management.
What you’ll need to succeed
1. Reporting & Analysis
Performance Tracking:
- Prepare weekly/monthly reports on sales trends (vs. LY & target), budget achievement, comparable growth, and store rankings.
- Consolidate regional sell-out data at *SKU level* for all doors (stores).
- Generate *Oracle BI reports* for suppliers (e.g., weekly/monthly sell-out by door/SKU, stock reports by location).
2. Market & Category Intelligence:
- Produce MTD/YTD reports on:
- Market share by country/brand.
- Category rankings (by store, brand, category).
- Best-sellers by country/category.
- Conduct basket analysis (VPT, PPT, PPP, Footfall, Conversion Rate).
- Analyze category performance by furniture type (gondolas, shelves, wall units).
3. Strategic Insights:
- Build competitive intelligence reports on beauty retail trends.
- Prepare business reviews for top management and bi-annual strategy presentations for key brands.
- Deliver ad-hoc analyses (e.g., sales by customer ethnicity, fragrance launch performance, store/brand mapping).
4.Coordination & Operations:
Data Integrity & Alignment:
- Validate commercial vs. financial figures (USD rates, door openings/closures, comparable doors) with Finance teams.
- Assist in setting yearly KPIs and monthly targets by country/region.
5. Budget & Project Support:
- Coordinate budget allocation by brand/category at store level; translate into basket KPIs.
- Support E-commerce, CRM, and digital app projects (for what’s to come)
6. Stakeholder Management:
- Liaise with Marketing on digital performance metrics.
- Communicate supplier reports and rebate achievements.
