What you'll be doing
As The Head of Brand you are responsible for driving the commercial, and operational performance of a portfolio of Asian beauty brands alongside the growth of high-potential private label brands. Operating across the GCC region, the Head of Brand ensures brands are localized effectively, perform commercially, and are well-positioned to lead in their categories across multi-channel retail landscapes.
The role requires a deep understanding of Asian beauty markets, exceptional cross-functional leadership, and the agility to scale emerging brands while optimizing mature ones.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead the brands’ portfolio long-term strategy, assess gaps, scout new brands, build business plans and localize brand narratives across channels.
- Build and scale private label brands.
- Build and execute differentiated go-to-market strategies per brand, aligned with global direction and local market needs.
- Define and deliver annual sales targets and budgets across all channels; drive sell-in/sell-out performance using data insights.
- Negotiate commercial terms and manage supplier relationships, ensuring alignment across marketing, merchandising, and logistics.
- Lead 360° marketing campaigns, including ATL/BTL strategies, media planning, PR/influencer/KOL coordination, and brand launches.
- Oversee demand planning, inventory, regulatory compliance, and launch execution; drive operational KPIs and optimize supply chain processes.
- Own full P&L responsibility, manage OPEX/CAPEX, and set annual fiscal and manpower budgets.
- Track commercial KPIs, analyze category/marketing performance, and prepare monthly reports with actionable insights.
- Manage, coach and assess the team’s performance, cascade down goals and KPIs, supervise in-store execution and productivity.
What you’ll need to succeed
- Minimum 15 years of experience in beauty or consumer brands, ideally with proven exposure to Asian beauty brands.
- Fluency in Korean, Japanese, or Mandarin is a big plus. Fluency in English is a must.
- Passion and deep understanding of Asian beauty, consumer innovation, and global trend sensitivity
- You would be based in Dubai or willing to relocate to Dubai
- Prior P&L ownership, general management, or brand portfolio leadership.
- Successful track record in scaling brands across multi-channel retail environments in the GCC.
- Deep understanding of retail dynamics, especially within K-beauty / J-beauty / C-beauty.
- Strategic thinking with commercial acumen and creative brand storytelling.
- Excellent cross-functional leadership, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
- Entrepreneurial and self-starter mindset.
- Agile, data-driven, and capable of thriving in a dynamic environment.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
