What you'll be doing
As a communications expert, the Lead Graphic Designer plays a pivotal role in maintaining and evolving Chalhoub Group’s corporate and brand communications. This role leads the development of high-impact visual content and storytelling across digital, social, internal, and experiential channels. With a strong strategic mindset and a mastery of design tools and AI, the Lead works cross-functionally to elevate our internal and external brand expression, while managing design-related projects, internal campaigns, and corporate events.
- Translate strategic briefs into creative visual assets and experiences across print, digital campaigns, social, video, and event activations — ensuring alignment with brand identity and strategic goals.
- Lead the visual and written execution of internal communications (e.g. activating the internal employee platform, driving campaigns and content creation, supporting on Town Halls and small internal events), transforming ideas into clear, engaging content.
- Manage creative projects and corporate events end-to-end — from timelines and deliverables to coordination with stakeholders, agencies, and production partners.
- Design impactful presentations and storytelling decks for executive communications, strategic reports, and high-stakes forums.
- Create, film, and edit video content using Adobe Premiere and After Effects.
- Contribute to the evolution of Chalhoub’s design identity through original concepts, templates, and advanced use of the Adobe Suite.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure brand consistency — visually (guidelines) and verbally (tone of voice).
- Maintain organized libraries of digital assets, templates, and guidelines.
- Support creative strategy through mood boards, mockups, and strategic presentation design.
- Stay up to date on design trends and AI tools (e.g. Firefly, Sora) to keep our creative output cutting-edge.
What you’ll need to succeed
- 5-6 years of experience in graphic design, preferably with exposure to corporate communications, events, and brand building.
- Mastery of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, Premiere Pro).
- Experience with AI design tools and platforms (e.g., Firefly, Sora, Midjourney, Runway, Canva AI).
- Strong background in visual storytelling, motion graphics, and executive presentation design.
- Proven experience leading design projects with cross-functional teams and external partners.
- Familiarity with event design, digital signage, stage content, and print/digital assets for on-ground activations.
- Knowledge of internal communication platforms and social media platforms best practices (LinkedIn, Instagram, tiktok) and visual engagement best practices.
- Excellent communication and time management skills.
- Portfolio added that reflects depth in creative concepts and content, events, and refined execution across multiple channels.
- This is a consultant role to be hired for a period of 4-6 months to cover maternity
