What you'll be doing
Liaise with Real Estate Registration Offices to notarize and register dates on company and branch contracts and legal documents.
Obtain and renew commercial shop licenses and coordinate with government authorities in accordance with local laws and regulations.
Prepare and finalize general and special powers of attorney on behalf of management or owners, as required.
Add newly established branches to the Commercial Register and complete all related official procedures.
Handle the closure of shops and branches upon business termination and complete all required formalities.
Renew the Commercial Registration for four companies every three months, ensuring all information reflects the latest updates.
Complete licensing procedures for vehicles assigned to Chalhoub Group warehouses and follow up on their periodic renewals.
Coordinate with internal departments to ensure all required documentation is completed for any governmental or legal process.
Maintain and archive all legal documents related to licenses and powers of attorney in a secure and well-organized manner.
Monitor and follow up on any updates or changes in laws and regulations that may impact the company’s operations.
Perform any additional duties related to the company as assigned by management.
What you’ll need to succeed
Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field.
Minimum 5–7 years of experience in governmental relations, legal affairs, or public relations within the retail or commercial sector.
Strong knowledge of local government laws, regulations, and procedures, including commercial licensing, commercial registration, and real estate registration.
Proven experience in dealing with Real Estate Registration Offices, commercial licensing authorities, and other governmental entities.
Hands-on experience in preparing and managing general and special powers of attorney.
Experience in opening, closing, and renewing retail stores and branches, including all related governmental approvals.
Ability to manage and renew multiple commercial registrations accurately and within deadlines.
Experience in handling vehicle licensing and renewals for company fleets or warehouses.
Strong coordination skills to work effectively with internal departments and external government entities.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to maintain, archive, and secure legal documents systematically.
Ability to monitor and interpret regulatory changes and assess their impact on business operations.
High level of integrity, attention to detail, and confidentiality.
Strong communication skills in Arabic and English (spoken and written).
Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and work under pressure.
