What You’ll Be Doing

Level Shoes is seeking a motivated, analytical, and detail-oriented Financial Analyst trainee to join our Finance team. The traineeship offers hands-on exposure to financial monitoring, reporting, automation initiatives, and month-end closing within a fast-paced retail environment. As a Financial Analyst trainee, you will actively contribute to financial analysis, reporting enhancements, and cost control initiatives, gaining practical experience across core finance processes.

Under the supervision of the Finance team, you will:

• Contribute to the month-end closing process, including reconciliations and data validation

• Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports, dashboards, and variance analyses

• Support the improvement and automation of financial reporting tools (Excel models, templates, dashboards, and other systems)

• Assist in monitoring and following up on Accounts Receivable, ensuring timely collections and accurate reconciliation

• Support the monitoring and analysis of Operating Expenses (OPEX) and Capital Expenditures (CAPEX)

• Track and validate recharges in line with partners agreements

• Perform ad-hoc financial analyses and support various Finance team initiatives as required

What You’ll Need to Succeed

• Currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail

• Proactive mindset with a willingness to learn and take initiative

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and meet deadlines

• Good command of English (written and spoken)
