What you'll be doing
We are looking for a commercially minded Wholesale Manager to lead the regional wholesale business for Lacoste, driving sales performance, profitability, and brand excellence across multiple markets. This is a highly visible role requiring strong commercial acumen, relationship management skills, and the ability to balance strategic thinking with operational execution.
Working closely with brand principals, distributors, and internal stakeholders, you will be responsible for accelerating business growth while ensuring the highest standards of brand representation across the region. Your responsibilities will be to:
Drive regional wholesale sales, profitability, and commercial performance across multiple markets and distribution partners.
Build and strengthen relationships with brand principals, distributors, and key external stakeholders to support long-term business growth.
Lead commercial negotiations, including trading terms, margins, exclusivity agreements, and brand support initiatives.
Develop buying strategies and manage seasonal product assortments to maximize commercial opportunities across the region.
Partner with Marketing teams to execute impactful brand campaigns and support clients in driving sell-through and profitability.
Ensure pricing strategies are competitive, commercially sound, and consistent across all wholesale channels.
Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and consumer insights to identify opportunities for growth and continuous improvement.
Champion brand standards by ensuring excellence in visual merchandising, retail execution, and customer experience across all markets.
Manage budgets, sales performance, and operational efficiencies, implementing action plans where required.
Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team while fostering a collaborative and performance-driven culture.
What you’ll need to succeed
Proven experience in wholesale, distribution, or brand management within premium or lifestyle fashion, sportswear, or retail.
Strong commercial and financial acumen with experience managing P&L performance.
Experience working with regional markets and managing distributor or wholesale partner relationships.
Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
Experience in buying, assortment planning, and pricing strategy is highly desirable.
Analytical mindset with the ability to translate market insights into commercial action.
Excellent leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, multi-market environment with regular regional travel.
