What you'll be doing
The Associate – Visual Merchandising will support the planning, implementation, and maintenance of high-quality visual merchandising standards across stores, with a strong focus on luxury and beauty brands. The role will be responsible for translating brand guidelines and seasonal concepts into impactful in-store executions, coordinating with suppliers and internal stakeholders, and ensuring consistency across displays, windows, podiums, launches, and animations.
Implement seasonal visual merchandising concepts, brand guidelines, launches, animations, windows, podiums, and in-store displays across stores.
Conduct regular market and store visits to ensure VM standards are consistently implemented and identify opportunities for improvement.
Coordinate with suppliers, maintenance teams, logistics, brands, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely and high-quality execution of VM projects.
Forecast and plan VM materials and requirements on a seasonal and annual basis, ensuring the necessary materials are available for upcoming activities.
Coordinate directly with brands and suppliers for VM requirements, including podiums, displays, POS materials, furniture, and other merchandising elements.
Review, adapt, and redesign visual concepts, artwork, visuals, product displays, and merchandising solutions when required.
Understand Photoshop, Illustrator, and other design tools to review and adapt VM artwork and creative materials.
Understand and interpret 3D files, architectural drawings/designs, floor plans, layouts, and visual concepts to support effective store implementation.
Work closely with Marketing, Retail, Graphic Design, Logistics, and other relevant teams to deliver seasonal and brand initiatives.
Support new store openings and projects through floor plans, zoning, planograms, merchandising layouts, and VM implementation.
Monitor the performance and effectiveness of merchandising executions and recommend adjustments where needed.
Ensure all VM executions are aligned with luxury brand standards, aesthetics, and commercial objectives.
Prepare VM presentations, reports, updates, and visual documentation using PowerPoint, Excel, and other relevant tools.
Communicate clearly with stakeholders and provide regular updates on project progress, execution status, and market observations.
What you'll need to succeed
1–2 years of experience in Visual Merchandising, preferably within a luxury, beauty, fashion, or premium retail brand.
Strong understanding of field visual merchandising, including windows, podiums, product displays, seasonal animations, launches, and store layouts.
Good knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar design tools, with the ability to understand and adapt artwork and visual concepts.
Basic technical understanding of 3D files, architectural drawings, floor plans, zoning, and store layouts.
Experience coordinating with suppliers, brands, maintenance, logistics, and internal stakeholders to execute VM projects.
Strong visual eye and attention to detail, with the ability to create, review, and redesign merchandising concepts when required.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with good spoken and written English and confidence in professional emails and meetings.
Strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills, with the ability to prepare clear and professional presentations and reports.
Creative, organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced retail environment.
Comfortable conducting regular store and market visits, with a professional and presentable approach aligned with luxury brand standards.
