What you'll be doing
The Senior Associate Learning and Development (Enabling Arts Academy) has substantial functional Learning and Development and consultancy experience in complex organizations across diverse markets and cultures. The purpose of this role is to drive and drive functional competence building in line with identified needs, technical competencies, and business goals for 21 Job Families such as E-commerce, Marketing, Supply chain, Data, Tech, etc.
Functional Learning Management
- Collaborate with the Director of Learning Experience, VP People, People Partners, Talent Management, Job Family sponsors, Learning Ambassadors and other key business stakeholders to implement functional learning solutions across the Business.
- Review and ensure the relevance of Learning Pathways offering and user experience (UX). Review and ensure the relevance of the resources and learning tools that complement the Learning Pathways offering.
- Enrich the Learning Pathways by continuously scouting 3rd party or internal SMEs and providers in buying/building/borrowing content.
- Monitor Learning Pathways metrics and dashboards, providing insights on adoption, engagement, and achievement rates.
Project Management
- Plan, develop and manage project plans for functional learning initiatives, ensuring timely and effective delivery.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and integration of learning projects with business goals.
- Track project progress, manage stakeholders, and implement corrective actions as needed to ensure project success.
- Provide regular updates and reports on project status, milestones, and outcomes to stakeholders.
Consultancy
- Evaluate the effectiveness, relevance, and impact of the Learning Pathways and other programmes within the Enabling Arts Academy, making recommendations for continuous improvement and aligning with global learning best practices through industry benchmarking.
- Provide regular functional learning analytics on international and regional trends/best practices and offer actionable insights to enhance the Academy’s offerings.
- Conduct comprehensive Learning Needs Analysis to identify skill gaps and opportunities, ensuring a stronger link to Talent Management outputs such as performance data and internal mobility data.
- Write Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), policies, flowcharts, and other documentation to support the Enabling Arts Academy governance, and access Job Family-specific metrics (e.g., turnover rate, employee engagement) to inform strategic decisions.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Engage with VPs People, People Partners, Talent Management, Job Family sponsors, Learning Ambassadors to boost the implementation of functional learning strategies and drive learners’ buy-in and adoption of learning offerings.
- Maintain, develop, and manage relationships with third-party learning providers to build internal technical capabilities.
- Maintain effective relationships with the Chalhoub University Digital Academy and Digital Marketing teams mainly as well as other team members.
- Implement recognition schemes to award and highlight outstanding learning achievements.
Instructional Design
- Design and deliver training programmes within areas of expertise, where applicable, tailored to the needs of the back-office teams.
- Develop engaging and effective instructional materials, including e-learning modules, teambuilding activities, icebreakers.
- Identify and use innovative L&D methods and tools to activate Job Family communities with formal and informal L&D solutions.
- Continuously evaluate and improve instructional design processes to ensure high-quality learning experiences.
Facilitation and Training Delivery
- Deliver training sessions, workshops, and offsites, ensuring an interactive and impactful learning experience.
- Facilitate various workshops such as Performance Management, Interviewing Skills, Behavioural courses, Presentation Skills, etc., where applicable.
- Support in the delivery of offsites for the Business.
- Co-facilitate functional/technical training content with SMEs, where applicable.
What you’ll need to succeed
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, or relative.
- Strong Stakeholder Management.
- Previous experience conducting trainings.
- Strong external and internal engagement skills.
