What you'll be doing
The Senior Manager Finance will be a key advisor to functional leaders and stakeholders ensuring prevalent financial information and data is communicated to ensure effective business decision making. This role will entail leading budgeting process, optimizing financial performance, provide key insights, and improve financial controls & processes.
The Senior Manager Finance will be expected to:
- Review and provide advice on strategic financial plans in partnership with business leaders.
- Partner to provide insights and decisions support through financial analysis to enable business partners to make key decisions and achieve strategic vision.
- Provide delivery of inputs, insights, challenges, and analysis to key planning processes for the business to ensure all financial plans support the achievement of strategic and operational objectives.
- Develop and manage metrics to monitor the performance of the overall business and highlight key risks and opportunities to stakeholders.
- Support Inventory reporting and process improvements and ensuring the appropriate level of inventory in place.
- Explain, present, and analyze the financial performance of organization to Heads of Business, Group Finance, Internal & External Stakeholders
- Provide meaningful, actionable insights, advice, and recommendations on historic and the future financial performance to leadership.
- Identify and prioritize challenges, risks and opportunities while recommending action plans.
- Serve as a catalyst to drive forward initiatives critical to delivering the overall strategy.
- Manage treasury along with legal contracts in coordination with the treasury and legal department.
What you’ll need to succeed
- From 8 years of experience in financial management and modelling, operations and business analytics, budgeting, and risk management.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics or any related field.
- Financial certification required: CFA, CPA, or CIMA.
- Prior experience in Team Management.
- Strong business planning skills to execute strategic projects, addressing implications for various business areas with rapidly evolving processes.
- Flexibility in understanding industry business cycles, demands, and their effects on financial results.
- Proven track record of managing profitability, including the ability to analyze and discuss financial impacts, status, and improvement strategies.
- Working knowledge of all statutory legislation and regulations across regions.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills with ability to present to multi-level stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Power BI, Oracle Finance, Hyperion, Looker and MS Excel.
