What you'll be doing
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Digital Merchandiser to optimize product presentation and performance on our online store. This role leverages data insights, innovative merchandising strategies, and AI-powered personalization to enhance onsite search, improve product discoverability, drive conversions, and deliver tailored customer experiences. The ideal candidate will be adept at analysing metrics, identifying trends and generating actionable insights. The role requires a key interest in emerging technologies ensuring the right product at the right time, improve product discoverability, and continuously test and iterate on strategies that exceed business goals and customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
Search, Navigation & Category Optimization
- Lead and improve the onsite search journey, ensuring relevance, accuracy, and luxury brand alignment.
- Maintain and refine the category tree structure, filters, and listing pages to improve navigation and discovery with global competitor alignment.
- Conduct competitor benchmarking and app testing to identify industry best practices.
- Collaborate with UX and Product teams to test and implement enhancements based on customer behaviour and feedback.
Projects & Innovation
- Support the development and execution of AI-powered personalization strategies to deliver tailored product recommendations and shopping experiences.
- Collaborate with Product, UX, and Tech teams to optimize onsite search, navigation, and merchandising through innovative tools and data-driven enhancements.
- Contribute to key digital initiatives and special projects aligned with the ecommerce roadmap.
- Maintain strong awareness of luxury ecommerce trends, emerging technologies, and competitive benchmarks to inform ongoing site innovation.
- Provide operational and strategic support to leadership during project planning and execution phases.
Ecommerce Trade Analysis
- Contribute to weekly trading packs and dashboards with actionable insights and data-backed recommendations.
- Monitor performance across key digital metrics such as conversion, click-through rates and customer pathing.
- Identify and report gaps or opportunities in product discovery and onsite behaviour.
- Work alongside supply chain and buying teams to ensure different online customer requirements and market needs are met.
- Contribute to weekly trading packs and performance dashboards with actionable, data-driven insights.
- Monitor key ecommerce metrics including conversion rates, click-throughs, bounce rates, and customer behaviour to identify opportunities and gaps.
What you'll need to succeed:
- 4–6 years of experience in ecommerce, digital merchandising, or site experience roles—preferably in fashion or luxury retail.
- Strong understanding of onsite search, product discovery, and navigation best practices.
- Experience with digital tools such as Google Analytics, Dynamic Yield (or similar personalization platforms), and merchandising systems.
- Collaborative mindset with experience working across UX, Product, and Tech teams.
- Data-driven with strong analytical and reporting skills.
- Self-starter with a passion for innovation in customer experience and digital commerce.
