What you'll be doing
The Master Data Trainee is responsible for creating, maintaining, and controlling critical master data for the Group. This role ensures data accuracy, consistency, and completeness to support business operations, reporting, and decision-making. The coordinator works closely with cross-functional teams including IT, Supply Chain, Finance, Commercial, and Product teams to ensure timely and effective data governance.
Create, update, and manage master data records (e.g., item master, vendor master, customer master, pricing, hierarchy, and other attributes, etc.) in the ERP systems.
Validate incoming data for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with data standards.
Ensure all requests follow established workflows, approval processes, and governance rules.
Monitor data quality and perform regular audits to identify inconsistencies, duplicates, or missing data.
Support data cleansing and data improvement initiatives.
Enforce data governance policies, naming conventions, and classification standards.
Collaborate with Supply Chain, Finance, Product, and E-commerce teams to understand data requirements and ensure accurate data setup.
Maintain documentation of master data processes, SOPs, workflows, and templates.
Prepare periodic reports on data quality, request status, and workload metrics.
Support audits and compliance checks by providing necessary reports and evidence.
What you’ll need to succeed
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Information Systems, or related field.
Strong Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Data Validation).
Understanding of relational data, workflows, and data governance principles.
Knowledge of product data, supply chain data, or finance master data preferred.
