What you'll be doing
Analyst FP&A will support the Finance team within the Innovation vertical (SGII) in analyzing risks, trends, and business performance. The role will assist in measurement, planning, forecasting, and reporting activities, contributing to informed decision-making and supporting financial control and compliance.
The Analyst will work closely across Beauty Innovation, Fashion Innovation, and Corporate Innovation, supporting the planning of feasibility studies, driving value creation initiatives, and contributing to the set-up of financial and operational processes that enable the growth and scalability of the Innovation portfolio.
Work closely with operational sales and marketing managers, developing good knowledge of the business units’ environments (market size, competitors, brands, margins, retail outlets, advertising spend).
Analyze financial information to produce forecasts of business, industry, and economic conditions for decision-making.
Measure, plan, and forecast marketing activities and their impact on income statement and balance sheet.
Develop financial strategic planning as 3-Year Plan, Strategic Plan, Annual Plan, and Quarterly Plan updates.
Review purchase cycle and analyze weekly cash flow, recommending corrective actions when necessary.
Prepare the Monthly performance report to be presented to the CFO.
Provide analysis and recommendations on monthly financial figures vs. budget and last year, and issue management reports.
Challenge assumptions and propose revisions during annual and revised budget preparations.
Arrange, observe, and control P&L, balance sheet, and IRP (interest rate parity), recommending actions.
Create spreadsheets, charts, and graphs to illustrate technical reports.
Build and manage a KPI model (financial & business) aligned with company objectives.
Run GAP analyses to ensure financial standards and propose process revisions.
Prepare operating budgets based on historical or estimated revenues/expenses.
Review actual vs. budget performance, reporting deviations and preparing variance explanations.
Analyze and follow up on management and financial indicators.
Ensure internal control and compliance with Group Policies & Procedures, supporting departments as needed.
Support monthly closing: journal entries, financial statement compilation, and activity analysis.
Maintain knowledge of business, finance, and economic theory to improve financial reporting.
What you’ll need to succeed
Holding a Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related fields.
Strong interest in FP&A, financial strategy, and innovation-driven businesses.
1-3yrs of experience in a similar role.
