What You'll Be Doing  

As a Software Engineer (Shopify), you will be responsible for all aspects of software architecture and development, from high-level to low-level design, testing, and documentation. This is a chance to make a significant impact and help shape the future of our company.

Responsibilities will include:

• Development of e-commerce solutions: As a Shopify Developer, you will be responsible for the development of e-commerce solutions and ensuring that they meet the highest standards of quality, usability, performance, scalability and security.

• Design and Develop Microservices and APIs: You will be involved in the design and development of microservices and APIs to support the backend of our e-commerce solutions. You will also be responsible for diagnosing and solving technical issues related to e-commerce and Shopify implementation.

• Collaborate with Cross-functional Teams: You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, product, marketing, engineering, IT, and operations, to develop and implement enhancements for Salesforce products. You will also provide training and support to internal teams.

• Drive Adoption and Integration of Shopify: You will drive and manage the ongoing development of the Shopify tool and web properties and support adoption and integration into related areas of the organization. You will also be responsible for writing technical documentation (TSD and FSD) and leveraging your past experience to independently solve new problems and collaborate with others.

What You’ll Need To Succeed  

• Bachelor's degree in Computing, Engineering, or Mathematics

• Full-Stack development experience on Shopify

• Strong knowledge and experience in Shopify, Headless, Services framework, and platform capabilities

• Extensive experience in building responsive, scalable e-commerce websites

• Experience as a Frontend Development with a fluent knowledge of HTML, CSS, and modern JavaScript frameworks like React, Vue

• Experience working with Figma

• Deep understanding of Shopify concepts like Collections, Products, Discounts, Promotions, etc.

• Proficient in using Shopify APIs for manipulating data, implementing business rules, customizing storefront behavior and interacting with Shopify platform services and functionalities

• Ability to diagnose and debug issues in Shopify applications using debugging tools, browser developer tools, and log analysis

• Strong collaboration and communication skills for effectively working with cross-functional teams and adapting to changing requirements and priorities

• Leadership qualities, including mentorship, coaching, and guiding junior developers, and fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous learning

• Efficient with using AI for assisted development

• Good understanding of RESTful API development and JSON

• Cache strategy, CDN, front-end/back-end performance tuning, 3rd party integration, and Service integration experience

• Awareness of Dev Ops including Continuous Integration, Delivery, agile Confi guration Management, Environment Management, and Release Management practices.
