What you'll be doing
As a Senior Associate – Group Finance (Projects), you will play a key role in the Group’s financial planning, forecasting, consolidation, and performance management activities, while also supporting Group Finance projects aimed at strengthening governance, controls, and business processes.
The role is highly project-driven, requiring hands-on support of multiple finance initiatives, alongside support for management and financial reporting, including data validation, variance and trend analysis, to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of Group-level financial information.
In this role, you will support strategic decision-making through meaningful insights and scenario analysis, translating financial data into clear and actionable business implications.
You will also collaborate closely with Accounting, Treasury, Tax, Business Units, Legal, Finance Leadership, and the wider organization to enable timely, consistent, and well-informed decision-making across the Group.
Your responsibilities will include the below:
Planning, Budgeting & Forecasting
Assist in the aggregation of budgets, forecasts, and long-range plans across entities.
Review financial submissions from Business Units to ensure accuracy and alignment to assumptions.
Support scenario planning, sensitivity analysis, and financial modelling.
Group Performance Reporting
Prepare monthly performance packs, dashboards, KPIs, and variance analyses.
Provide commentary and insights on revenue, margin, overheads, and cash performance.
Support presentation materials for leadership performance reviews.
Planning, Budgeting & Forecasting
Assist in the aggregation of budgets, forecasts, and long-range plans across entities.
Review financial submissions from Business Units to ensure accuracy and alignment to assumptions.
Support scenario planning, sensitivity analysis, and financial modelling.
Financial Analysis & Insights
Conduct deep-dive analysis on Group-level trends, cost structures, and investment performance.
Develop insights that support strategic decisions and performance improvement initiatives.
Support business cases, capital requests, and ad-hoc financial studies.
Data Management & Governance
Validate data from ERP, BI systems, and consolidation platforms.
Maintain data integrity across cost centers, P&L lines, and reporting structures.
Ensure adherence to Group FP&A standards, reporting frameworks, and control requirements.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Coordinate with other business teams to resolve finance related issues facing the Group, providing recommendations and ensuring projects are followed through.
Proactively identify areas where Group Finance can add value and drive innovation.
Continuous Improvement & Digitalization
Enhance financial reporting tools, templates, and modelling frameworks.
Drive simplification and standardization across Group FP&A processes.
Critically analyze existing finance processes (and adjacent ones) to identify improvements.
What you’ll need to succeed
You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related field.
You preferably hold an ACCA, CMA, or equivalent professional qualification.
You have 3–5 years of experience in FP&A, Accounting, or professional services roles.
You preferably have prior experience with a Big 4 firm.
You have exposure to multiple finance projects.
You have strong experience in budgeting, forecasting, and performance management.
You have advanced Excel skills with solid financial modelling capabilities.
You have experience with ERP systems, BI tools, and financial reporting platforms.
You possess excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to challenge the status quo.
You are highly adaptable and have the ability to navigate complexity and ambiguity.
