What you'll be doing
you will be responsible for delivering accurate, timely, and insightful financial reporting, analysis, and support for the organization’s shared services operations. The role involves partnering with shared services’ leaders to ensure cost efficiency, process improvements, and compliance with financial policies while enabling informed decision-making. The role would also encompass KSA consolidated monthly and adhoc reporting.
•Financial Analysis & Reporting:
Review of monthly trial balance, coordination with accounting team and ensure timely adjustments.
Prepare, analyze, and present monthly management reports, variance analysis, and cost allocations for shared services functions (e.g., HR, IT, Admin, Legal, Logistics, etc.).
Support annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning cycles for shared services.
Monitor actual spend against budgets, identify risks and opportunities, and provide actionable insights to management.
Ensure accuracy and completeness of shared services cost allocation across business units.Ensuring that balance sheet items are reconciled and reflect true state of the business
Reviewing all the recharges against rate card and activities
•Business Partnering & Decision Support:
Act as a finance partner to shared service leaders by providing financial insights, KPIs, and recommendations to drive efficiency and value.
Support evaluation of business cases for shared service investments, cost optimization initiatives, and outsourcing opportunities.
Assist in tracking performance of service-level agreements (SLAs) and key cost drivers.
•Working capital management:
Monitor customer accounts and coordinate with accounting team for timely reconciliation.
Follow-up on aged customers, ensure reconciling items are resolved in a timely manner and receipts are timely allocated.
Ensuring cash flow plan is followed and availability of funds to honor timely supplier payments.
•Consolidated Reporting:
Design, develop, and maintain automated reports and dashboards and ensuring consistency among various dashboards
Consolidate and analyze financial and operational data to produce CMM, management reports, KPIs, and variance analysis.
Ensure accuracy, consistency, and standardization of reporting across business units (Retail, Distribution, E-commerce, etc.).
Identify opportunities to streamline reporting processes and improve data quality.
Respond to ad hoc analysis and reporting requests from business leaders.
What you’ll need to succeed
Master/BA in Finance.
5-7 years of managerial experince in Financial Planning and Analysis.
Excellent analytical skills with demonstrated experience with financial statement analysis, financial metrics.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, primarily Excel and Dashboard.
Proven track record of demonstrating intellectual curiosity, problem solving, business acumen and enthusiasm.
Excellent communication and organizational skills. Proven ability to collaborate across teams, functions and departments.
Ability to work well with a team and also thrive independently.
