What You’ll Be Doing

The Group Finance traineeship places you at the heart of business strategy and financial operations, offering hands-on exposure to the key drivers behind Chalhoub Group’s growth. In this dynamic, fast-paced environment, you'll support the analysis and reporting that empower informed decision-making across the organization. You’ll engage with cross-functional teams to ensure our financial insights align with both our business goals and brand vision. This is a unique opportunity to gain a holistic view of finance while contributing to the Group’s ongoing success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support month-end and year-end closing processes, including reconciliations and data validation

• Assist in preparing financial reports, presentations, and data trackers

• Conduct ad-hoc analyses such as cost reviews, margin analysis, or competitor benchmarking

• Coordinate with team members for budgeting, forecasting, and tracking of financial KPIs

• Manage daily operational tasks, including document filing, invoice processing, and system updates

• Participate in cross-functional meetings and provide administrative support as needed

• Compile and present findings to supervisors or business partners

• Contribute fresh ideas to improve processes and workflows

What You’ll Need to Succeed

• A relevant degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field

• Basic understanding of finance and accounting principles

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle data accurately

• Well-organized with the ability to manage tasks efficiently

• Motivated, proactive, and eager to learn within a team environment
