What you'll be doing  

 This hybrid role is ideal for a finance professional with strong analytical capabilities who also excels at cross-functional collaboration and driving projects to completion. You will be responsible for managing key financial process while leading business-critical projects across various departments. This position is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of numbers, strategy, and execution.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Analysis:

• Prepare and analyze monthly financial reports, including P&L, cash flow, and budget variance analysis.
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes across departments.
• Conduct ROI analysis on marketing and retail initiatives.
• Partner with procurement and supply chain teams to manage inventory costs, COGS tracking, review purchase cycle and analyze the Cash Flow and stock position on regular basis to provide corrective actions if necessary.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and external regulations.
• Oversee all core financial operations, including month-end closing, general ledger, and statutory compliance.
• Manage cash flow, working capital, and risk controls.
• Ensure accurate and timely internal and external financial reporting in line with accounting standards.
• Make constructive proposals and act as an internal consultancy to Managing Director, Director - Finance to monitor the business.
• Support audit and tax processes and liaise with external advisors as needed.
• Evaluate business proposals with complete analysis of economic impact on business.

Project Management:

• Lead cross-functional projects such as brand budgeting, new product launches, store rollouts, or system implementations (e.g. ERP, budgeting cycle, etc.).
• Develop detailed project plans with timelines, milestones, and stakeholder roles.
• Track progress and ensure on-time delivery, managing risks and resolving issues.
• Communicate project status to leadership and teams clearly and regularly.

• Drive performance improvement through lessons-learned reviews to refine methodologies and processes.

Business Analysis

• Analyze financial and operational data to provide insights that support strategic decision-making.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and KPIs to track business performance.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and revenue growth levers.
• Partner with business units to evaluate new initiatives, pricing models, or investment cases.
• Conduct scenario modeling and profitability analysis for business lines or new products.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Communication

• Engage stakeholders to align on objectives, expectations, and updates.
• Lead project teams, ensuring collaboration and accountability.
• Control and implement changes to the project scope, schedule, and cost.

What you’ll need to succeed  

• At least a bachelor’s degree in finance, Economics, or any related field
• CFA/ CPA would be a plus
• From 5 years’ experience in Finance, business analysis, ideally within any Consumer industry
• Proven experience in Project Management
• Excellent analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, Power BI, or other data visualization tools.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic retail environment.
