What you'll be doing
As a Senior Brand Associate, you will work closely with brand owners of the Estée Lauder beauty portfolio brands, including ultra-luxury skincare icon La Mer, niche fragrance houses By Kilian and Frédéric Malle, cutting-edge skincare line The Ordinary, and the high-fashion beauty of Tom Ford.
The Senior Brand Associate primary responsibility will be to collaborate closely to execute the strategic marketing visions and achieve their top-line financial objectives for the brand portfolio. In addition, they will be the main point of contact for our existing regional clients, actively participating in all negotiations with both B2B and B2C partners.
Core Responsibilities
- Support the management of the brand portfolio, assisting in tracking performance against top-line targets.
- Build and maintain professional relationships with Brand Owners by coordinating information and follow-up.
- Assist the team in implementing marketing strategies as defined by Brand Owners.
- Prepare documents and background for negotiations with retailers and/or brands to help secure business model agreements.
- Support the preparation of the yearly internal budget and seasonal forecasts.
- Conduct and summarize regional market visits to report on key trade and competitor developments.
- Gather data and research to contribute to the development of country-specific strategies and plans.
- Research and prepare initial proposals for potential new business development opportunities.
- Coordinate with Finance teams to receive P&L statements and help the team monitor the financial performance of the brands.
- Act as a liaison to help solve commercial, logistic, and marketing issues (e.g., product returns, quality checks, payment tracking) for assigned brands.
- Track and report sales performance daily against targets and budget benchmarks.
- Support the sales team by managing order execution and logistics for clients in the region.
- Assist in resolving commercial queries related to product logistics, quality, and payments.
What you’ll need to succeed
- Minimum of 4 years of prior experience in a comparable client-facing role, managing relationships with customers, clients, and brands.
- Experience within the luxury beauty sector is preferred.
- Strong grasp of the local market dynamics.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis, sales reporting, and budget support, and the ability to design and deliver compelling presentations using PowerPoint.
- Fluency in Arabic is a strong advantage.
