Role Overview
The People Partner will act as a strategic and operational HR Business Partner for the Cairo Airport Duty Free business, supporting both back office employees and frontliners across all terminals. This role ensures the effective delivery of HR initiatives, fosters a positive workplace culture, and drives business performance through people-focused initiatives
What you'll be doing
1- Business Partnership
Define, develop, and implement the annual people strategy in collaboration with director of People and GM of the business
Propose HR strategies that are aligned with business objectives to support commercial and operational goals.
Review the ways of working, functional operating models and workforce planning approaches to ensure optimal culture and productivity
Serve as the primary HR contact for leaders and employees across all 3 terminals and back office.
Provide guidance and recommendations on people related areas; recruitment, performance management, succession planning, retention, talent development, compensation and rewards, and employee engagement
2- Employee Relations & Engagement
Foster a positive work environment and open communication channels.
Address employee concerns, mediate conflicts, and ensure fair resolution of issues in partnership with HR operations.
Lead engagement initiatives to enhance motivation and retention for talents across back office and frontliner teams.
3- Talent Management
Support effective recruitment and onboarding of CADF Talent
Identify development needs and coordinate training programs for diverse employee groups in collaboration with the training team.
Drive performance management processes, including goal setting, feedback, and appraisals.
Lead the annual salary review cycles in partnership with the Director of People and GM of the business
Continually review and monitor the effectiveness of employee commission schemes and put forward recommendations for change
4- Change Management & Projects
Act as a change agent by looking for new ways to improve the employee experience and define our brand/function employee value proposition
Support organizational change initiatives and business transformation projects.
Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion within the workplace.
What you’ll need to succeed
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
5+ years of HR experience, preferably in retail, hospitality, or airport operations.
Strong knowledge of HR best practices and Egyptian talent landscape
Proven ability to partner with business leaders and frontline teams in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Experience with HRIS systems and data-driven decision making.
Fluency in English and Arabic required.
