What you'll be doing  

We are looking for a Senior iOS Engineer to join our Mobile Engineering team and help build a

world-class eCommerce iOS application.

You will work on a large-scale customer-facing mobile experience, developing features across

the complete shopping journey, from product discovery and browsing to checkout, payments,

and post-purchase experiences.

The ideal candidate has strong experience building scalable iOS applications using Swift,

SwiftUI, and UIKit, understands modern mobile architecture, and enjoys solving complex

product and engineering challenges in a fast-paced eCommerce environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain a high-quality eCommerce iOS application

• Build modern user experiences using SwiftUI & UIKit

• Develop scalable and maintainable features using MVVM architecture

• Work across key eCommerce journeys including product browsing, search, shopping cart, checkout, payments, and customer experiences

• Design and implement payment-related features including integration with multiple payment processors, Cash-on-Delivery (COD), and Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL) solutions such as Tabby and Tamara

• Integrate with backend services using REST APIs

• Work with server-driven UI approaches to enable scalable and flexible mobile experiences

• Handle networking, data management, error handling, and performance optimization

• Implement remote configuration and feature flag solutions to support controlled feature rollouts

• Integrate third-party SDKs, frameworks, and external services

• Implement analytics and tracking solutions

• Manage dependencies using Swift Package Manager (SPM) and CocoaPods

• Write clean, reusable, and testable code

• Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and technical improvements

• Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, backend engineers, and QA teams

• Take ownership of features from development through production release

• Ensure applications follow accessibility best practices and provide inclusive user experience

What you’ll need to succeed

• 5+ years of professional experience developing native iOS applications

• Strong knowledge of Swift

• Strong hands-on experience with SwiftUI & UIKit

• Experience building pixel-perfect user interfaces with attention to design details, responsiveness, and user experience

• Solid understanding of MVVM architecture and modern iOS development practices

• Strong understanding and hands-on experience with Swift Concurrency (async/await, actors, structured concurrency, …)

• Experience working with hybrid UIKit/SwiftUI applications

• Experience integrating RESTful APIs, JSON, and networking layers

• Experience with third-party SDK integrations

• Strong understanding of iOS frameworks, lifecycle, and best practices

• Experience writing clean, maintainable, and scalable code

• Strong memory management, debugging, and problem-solving skills

• Strong experience with localization and multi-language applications, including Arabic language support and RTL (Right-to-Left) layouts

• Experience developing accessible mobile applications following iOS accessibility guidelines
